Service Description
This 8-week course is for beginners in ceramics and those who love handbuilding with clay. In this course I will teach you how to work with handbuilding techniques and we will practice with throwing on the wheel. With handbuilding techniques you can make all kinds of things, simple pieces like cups and bowls, but also more bigger pieces like a serving plate or a tall vase. On the wheel we will practice making a perfect cup. During the classes we will split up the group and one half will throw on the wheel while the other half is handbuilding. Once the pieces are glazed and fired, they are food safe and dishwasher proof. When the work is finished I will arrange a pick up day.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Booking Policy Effective Date: 01-01-2026 1. **Cancellation Policy:** 1.1. **General Guidelines:** - Cancellations must be made 2 weeks before the start of the course. - If cancellation is made within 2 weeks before the start of the course the deposit won't be paid back. 1.3. **Refund Policy:** - Refunds for cancellations will be issued based on the timing of the cancellation: - Cancellations made within 48 hours: payment won't be returned. 2. **Rescheduling Policy:** 2.1. **Rescheduling Requests:** - Clients may request to reschedule a class only if other students in the group agree with the rescheduling. 2.2. **Make up session** - There will be one make up class for any missed classes. - Teacher will schedule the make up class together with students. 2.3. **Approval Process:** - All rescheduling requests are subject to availability and must be approved by Ceramist Black Horse Amsterdam. 3. **Booking Rules:** 3.1. **Booking Confirmation:** - All bookings are considered confirmed only upon receipt of the required booking deposit or full payment. 3.2. **Payment:** - Full payment is required in advance for all bookings, unless otherwise specified in writing by Ceramist Black Horse Amsterdam. 3.3. **Group Bookings:** - For group bookings, a non-refundable deposit may be required to secure the reservation. The deposit amount and terms will be communicated during the booking process. 4. **Exceptions:** 4.1. **Emergencies:** - Ceramist Black Horse Amsterdam understands that emergencies may arise. Exceptions to the cancellation and rescheduling policies may be considered on a case-by-case basis for genuine emergencies. 5. **Communication:** 5.1. **Notification:** - Clients are responsible for notifying Ceramist Black Horse Amsterdam of any cancellations or rescheduling requests in a timely manner. 5.2. **Contact Information:** - Clients must ensure that their contact information on file with Ceramist Black Horse Amsterdam is accurate to receive important notifications and updates.
